- Aug 30, 2024
Recorded on the first day of construction. The video documents the arrival of crews and equipment and the beginning of driveway installation. Crew members are seen wearing both Lexington Blacktop and C&R Asphalt shirts, and C&R Asphalt trucks are present on site. The contract for this project was with Lexington Blacktop.
Standing Water During Drainage Evaluation
- June 19, 2025
Recorded during a site visit with the salesperson to evaluate recurring standing water on the driveway. After being shown where water regularly collected following rainfall, the salesperson stated he wanted to study the situation further. During a heavy rainstorm, the video documents standing water and muddy conditions on the driveway while crew members use shovels to move water off the pavement.
Pre-Repair Edge Cracking (Gate to Road)
- July 23, 2025
Recorded immediately before repair work began on the section of driveway from the entrance gate to the roadway. The video documents edge cracking, the condition of the concrete apron, concrete splatter on the brick entrance pillar from the original installation, and previously repaired areas visible as darker asphalt sections. The contractor stated the repair plan included replacing this section of driveway and installing a drain near the roadway to redirect standing water from the low area on the left side of the driveway.
Post Seal Coat Driveway Conditions
- June 8, 2026
Recorded following application of the complimentary seal coat provided under the original contract. The video documents the driveway’s condition afterward, including visible cracking and the overall appearance of the finished work. Prior to the seal coat, primary concerns about edge cracking had been communicated to the contractor and office staff. Following completion, tire impressions were observed embedded in crack filler near the driveway edge, along with additional cracking in the area where the contractor’s truck had been positioned, and crack filler applied to multiple areas, some corresponding to existing paving seams, others in locations with no previously observed defects.
